Developing a website can be a long process that may require a lot of effort on the part of the client. It is a good idea to prepare all copy and images for the site as well as to gather the printed materials for your company before meeting with a designer. You should also research other sites to get a feel for what you like. The more you put into the site prior to developing it, the easier the process will be and the more likely you will get the outcome you desire.

With that said, we have developed the list below with our Clients' satisfaction in mind to help educate you about the web design process with B&A Creations. We will be with you through every step to make the process as painless as possible without any "surprises" along the way, and you will get the personal attention that you deserve. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Web Design Procedures

  1. Contact B&A Creations for a free consultation to discuss your design needs. You will complete a Website Planning Worksheet to determine the purpose, organization, page elements, design ideas, and interests for your site. You should also be prepared to provide printed materials from your company such as brochures or postcards if applicable.

  2. B&A will provide an estimate and a preliminary site plan based on the information gathered from the consultation.

  3. After you return the signed quote with your deposit, B&A can help you set up domain name and hosting service if needed. We can also post a "Coming Soon" page using your company's logo.

  4. B&A will develop 1 home page design mock-up to begin the proofing process. Included in the estimated cost would be changes to the mock-up or 1 redesign if required. All additional concepts would be charged at our hourly rate.

  5. Once the mock-up has been approved, 50% of the estimated cost will be due before proceeding with site construction. All copy and images will need to be supplied at this time.

  6. Once the pages have been created, B&A will provide a proof hosted on our server. You will then review the site for any changes or errors.

  7. All changes will be made, and the site development will be finalized. The balance will be due before making the site live.

  8. Once final payment has been made, we will upload the files to your server. We will also provide you with a copy of the finished files on CD, and there is a 2 week maintenance period included. Please see our Website Design Terms & Conditions for more information.
